Mitt Romney is an ass.

This makes me very, very angry.

In short, on a 12 hour drive with his family some time ago, Mitt Romney found it reasonable to strap his dog's carrier (with dog inside) to the top of the car roof in the summer heat. The dog got sick (shocker) and the man's response was to hose everything down and continue on his way.

You don't do that crap. Ever. When any living thing is suffering, especially one YOU are responsible for, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Be sensible. Would you strap your kid on the car roof for a 12 hour trip? How insensitive can you be?

Oh, and just for good measure, when questioned about the event Mitt's defense was "The dog liked it." I'm half tempted to go on a 12 hour drive in the summer heat with a friggin' Mitt Romney strapped to the roof. Asshole.
