So Many Things To Do...
I'm all for getting married, but the amount of work required to throw a wedding, even a small wedding, is nuts!
I need to:
Meet with Charles (our Minister)
Meet with the florist to review sample centerpieces and such
Design and create the invitations
Meet with the baker and determine final design and flavors (also pick a Groom's cake)
Meet with the ceremony and reception musicians
See at least one other wedding take place at the Garden
Have a final menu tasting
Decide whether to have a champagne toast
Attend a bridal shower
Finish registering
Buy my headpiece
Buy foundation garments
Have my dress fitting
Buy shoes for me, pick shoes for bridesmaids
Buy Tom's ring
Decide on guest book option
Finialize guest list
Book our hotel
Decide on initial honeymoon destination
Meet with hair and makeup people (who will be coming to me on the big day - yesssss!)
Figure out beverage logistics for the garden
Order favors
Shop for dresses with the Moms
Harass Tom to pick out his tuxes
Buy attendant gifts
Is that it? WHEW! Plus, the wedding bonanza starts in 6 weeks....
