For Auld Lang Syne my dear....

We had a lovely New Year's Eve with a few of our fabulous friends. Amy, Andy, Adam K., Heather, Adam V. and Dena ventured out in the snow to Psycho Suzie's for some fantastic pizza. By the time we were done with dinner is had finally stopped snowing and we made our way back to Adam & Dena's for games and champagne. Thanks Guys!

It's hard to believe another year has come and gone so quickly. I'm not exactly sure how this works, but time passes faster the older you are. By the time I'm old enough to retire (like that's ever going to happen) a year will pass in 5 minutes!

2006 brought the following:
Our 1st Anniversary
A trip to Tokyo (10 amazing days!)
A trip to Orlando/Disney World
Me starting up yoga
62 pounds less on my frame
A promotion and new office
A fantastic renovation of my front yard
LOTS of planting, digging and gardening
Building in-wall bookshelves in the living room
A wonderful big birthday party for Tom at our house
I learned that Curling is damn confusing!
Set up a photogallery for my pictures
Refinishing our den
I took Fridays off all summer!
Attended 3 weddings (Gary & Rhonda, Jesse & Emily, Adam & Dena)
Went to see The Flaming Lips with my sister
Was head election judge for the primary and general elections
Welcomed our friends Mary & Ben's daughter Isabel
Welcomed our friends Ryan & Denise's daughter Zöe
Volunteered many, many hours with MAARS and Habitat for Humanity
Got "Just Because" flowers from my hubby
Received many wonderful Christmas presents
Actually made my hubby dinner several times
Enjoyed many wonderful times with friends & family
Laughed and cried many, many times

In 2007, I hope to:
Spend a week at a health spa with my mom
Travel to Boston with Tom for his birthday
Travel to Europe or Hawaii
Meet my niece/nephew in January
See Sue graduate and head to college (she's growing up so fast!)
Finish planting my front gardens
Landscape the driveway berm
Finish our fireplace (the granite slabs are on order!)
Get a second bathroom roughed in in our basement
For the second year in a row: Organize more and procrastinate less
Play lots of Wii!
Practice Yoga at least three times a week
Refinish my bird room
Refinish the hardwood floors under the ugly carpet in the living room
Enjoy many more memorable times with friends & family
Love my husband more and more and more....
